As a programmer I have more work than time so creating an invoice (which is the most important thing) seemed like a hassle. I used to create work estimates using notepad, do the work, then create an invoice from all of the emails and by looking at the completed project. I was not accurately tracking how many hours I had really worked so I was losing money.

My solution was to create a simple invoicing system. Now I enter the requested work at a detail level to create the work estimate and the report is professional looking. Then as I do the work I just add hours to each item. The system has a to-do list so I can remember what I am to do and by when. When the work is done the invoice is created with a few navigation clicks and is so fast and easy. The invoice can be sent from the browser via email or printed and faxed.

This system is available as shareware for only $25. If you decide it is worth $25, please send an email to info@hpch.com and I will give you an address to where you can send a check or money order. Please make the subject "Invoicing System Shareware" so my spam filter won't delete the message before I see it.

You can test out the demo and/or download a zipped file containing all asp files and an empty access 97 database. You will need to have your "company" logo on the internet if you send any reports via email. There are some fields in the database that haven't been used in this version but as a programmer you will have no problem customizing your version. If you decide to download the code I cannot support it so please do not ask for any code changes or send me email with questions. Thank you.

Also, there is no help or documentation for this version so the only field that needs mentioning is the Invoice Format in the company table. If you leave this blank the system will use the default reports. If you enter something in this field the system will append the text to the report name so that you can create custom reports for each company.

NOTE: You will need to have cookies enabled for the demo system to work correctly. All data older than 7 days will be deleted.
